OT Security Engineer (m/f/d)
St. Ingbert / Remote • Full-time
As an OT Security Engineer, you make industrial networks safer and smarter. You prepare real network data in such a way that our AI models can be optimally trained with it, and actively help build our OT testing processes. You take raw industrial network traffic recordings under the microscope, develop clean data for our training pipelines from them, and conduct systematic error analyses in automatic device recognition. In doing so, you work hand in hand with Patrick and the tech team.
What you bring with you
Ongoing studies in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, or a comparable field
Good basic knowledge of network architectures and security in dealing with TCP/IP basics
First practical experience with Python as well as confident handling of the Linux command line and Git
Ideally, first contact points with industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, or OPC UA (nice-to-have)
Hands-on mentality and real enjoyment of working independently in a team
What is especially important to us
🚀Startup mindset🚀
You enjoy using your theoretical knowledge not only in the lecture hall but actively applying it in a research-oriented startup with industrial relevance. With us, you get the opportunity to experience the dynamics of a young team up close, take direct responsibility for subprojects, and actively shape the interface between AI and OT security.
